While we were travelling north on Soi Buakow en route to Carrefour/Home Pro (which one of us considers the place where dreams can come true ) I happened to notice the sign on one of the many massage venues.

Along with "Thai Massage, oil, lotion, milk" etc, this one place offered "electric massage."

Anyone have a clue what that would involve? I have this vision of tangled, frayed wires being bandied about by someone in black leather. I suppose a "happy ending" in that case would be one that focused on survival.

Hmm, what could possibly go wrong? Have some masseur/masseuse in Thailand connect you to the mains and slather on a little oil. KFC move over.

With the ON again OFF again power supply in Thailand you are probably better to get a manual massage. At least that is consistent if you have a regular place.

I go to the wat massage school down on the Chao Phraya and pay my 60 baht plus 50 baht tip for one hour Thai massage (no happy ending except feeling great when finished).
