I don't mind occasional commercial messages here because they're as much free speech as anything else... but I think that the price of a free ticket is that everyone gets to speak.

The only posts that get censored [by me] are those that use real names or other things which might invade privacy. Also deleted pro forma are attempts by a certain person who is not welcome here, unless and until he apologizes for past misconduct.

Is someone not allowed to have opinion on how a public forum should operate and another different opinion for the format of their own blog?

The point, if you're too dull to grasp it, is that the one-time champion of free expression is now embracing a policy of censorship. Funny how that happens once you get to be the master of your own domain.

Anyway, if you don't want to join in the sheer exhiliration of mocking someone who takes themselves so unbelievably seriously, there are hundreds of other threads here you can post to. Don't spoil the fun for the rest of us.

Hedda flounced out of Sawatdee Forum because she believed that so many people disagreeing with her could not possibly be a true case - they must all be the same person using multiple logins. She then spent the first few months on her Bog of Shame libelling the Moderators and various others. Every few weeks there's a story about the Forum's imminent demise, and any thread here that mentions a dearth of posters is immediately replicated there, with more dire warnings about SF's death

In late January Hedda's former research assistant, Jane Marple, mounted a coup de blog and the Hopper aka. Radio Free Sawatdee is now authored by that person. Hedda herself, while too proud to take up her own name and post in these threads, nevertheless contributes to my Blog on Sawatdee Gay Thailand

LMTU . . . Hedda is not banned from this Board (as far as I know ~ ElephantSpike could easily confirm that). He could come back here anytime he wants to. But he doesn't want to ... he's burned his bridges, he's said that himself numerous times on The Bog.

The myth that this Board (or any other) is more the poorer without Himself is just that, a myth: perpetuated by Himself and his 3 cheerleaders. No message board relies on a single individual that much . . . thank god.
