Although things change by the minute, this chart of massage places is a pretty good single source of information.

If you haven't come across the blog, it is pretty good (although not always the easiest to navigate) with good, truly well written reviews of bars and other venues in Thailand. Worth visiting

this table has now been posted on about any of the known gay Thai fora
for those who can read Thai-or who can persuade their temporary Thai friends to translate: there are lively sites in Thai-giving reviews, gossip and latest news about Thai male massage places: gaythaiclub and bangkok-mms.com
there are full lists on thaialndscene.com and masseurthailand-but this latter seems to be off-line lately

Notice that 85% of the places mentioned are rated 'Unacceptable, insufficient privacy or dirty' in the LOCKERS criteria: AKA the "Mostly Hunks"-trump-"Dirty & Bacteria Ridden"-every time phenomenon.

Very colourful info however.

Cheers ...

That's true. I posted it on three of them myself, including where you saw it on CFS, using the ID "Nalong." But the author is the guy whose blog I linked and he had written pages of reviews both of massage venues and bars. I don't agree with all of his views or ratings, but he does write well and many of his reviews are more current than some of the stuff you find on the Internet that is 6 months to 3 years old.

Notice that 85% of the places mentioned are rated 'Unacceptable, insufficient privacy or dirty' in the LOCKERS criteria:

What are you looking at? 'Unacceptable, insufficient privacy or dirty' only applies to the standard of facilities and only Indra gets that rating. 1 out of 18 doesn't make 85%. Although I've never been there, I know of someone who would dispute that rating for Indra as well.

The "X" for lockers means only that none are available. The better class of places offer a private room with shower ensuite and there really is no need for a locker.

The places I've been in have all been quite clean. Hero and Senso, as well as several others, are going to run B2000 to B3000 for an hour or 90 minute session and are chock-a-block with Asian, including Japanese customers. They maintain a very high standard of cleanliness.
