A Gay site in the US (http://www.daddysreviews.com) had one post which said there were great hotel bargains to be had in BKK now that the economy is depressed. Any of you hear anything out of the ordinary? With particular attention to hotels?

BKKPost had same-most likely the original source-and said the TAT=google for tourismthailand would start a new site like thailandsuperdeals or so.
NOTE; there have been several better deals in 4-5** places- Phuket/Samui (plagued with incessant rains)-but thats for THAI citizens and farang with long-term permits only-and they do check that and stick to it.
