Suvarnaphum...what is not working like a charm

What is not working like a charm are the departures...expect to see numerous flights canceled with your airline directing you to another carrier for the first leg of your trip to their hub airport, unless it happens to be your carriers day to fly a half empty plane to a hub airport. My Thai/American parntner departed Suvarnaphum DEC 12. EVA had canceled all of its departing flights and put all of their passangers on China Air to Taipei. Unfortunately the half empty China Air arrived in Taipei to late for the connecting flight to LAX. He arrived home 8 hours late on EVA's next LAX bound plane. Interestingly enough no one at EVA had any idea where he was or what they had done with him, so I just went home and waited for his phone call when he arrived.

So be warned, and let the folks at home know that you may or may not be on the expected flight home.
