The Democrats in bed with Newin and his 'friends', there is something I never thought I would see, but then again TIT....

Give it 4 to 6 months of power before it falls apart. On second thoughts 'power' might be the wrong word.
'Muddle' maybe more appropriate.

...and Chalerm Yubamrung, just to make sure it is a totally self-centred, corrupt, inept and incompetent "coalition of the billing"! Even if they can form a majority now, when the PPP replacements get voted in at the (already deferred) by-elections the fun and games will start all over again.

Can anyone remember a number of years back when Chalerm Yubamrung was Interior Minister, he became famous for arresting fax machines after a story had been run in a well respected foreign (Hong Kong) ecomomic magazine running the then government down. He accused the (those that owned) fax machines of ruining (amoungst other things) the good name of Thailand etc., etc., etc. When will these dinosaur die off and let Thailand move forward?....wishful thinking I know!

He is also notorious for his two sons and for ensuring that they have, literally, got away with murder. Both were dismissed from the police after it was revealed in Parliament that not only had neither registered for military service but that their degrees enabling them to join direct as police inspectors had been given less than a week after the university had been open.

Yes, his two sons are a right pair of thugs one of them was actually caught on CCTV shooting a Police Sgt dead in a disco in Bangkok, and as you point out Gone Fishing he got away with it after all the witnesses were openly intimidated. I think the other one did something in Phuket or was it the same son? Whatever a lovely family, just what Thailand needs.
