Flamingo Hotel

I see that Flamingo Hotel is closed. There is a notice outside saying something about opening again soon as something different.

Anyone know what is taking the place of Flamingo and when? Presumably another hotel: as is or to be totally renovated etc?

There was a rumor that the Flamigo Hotel will be remodeled and rented as serviced apartments, similiar to Mosaik across the street.
