The c&n hotel is very near the Paradise complex, good rooms, safe a/c , quiet and reasonable breakfast. Have a large massage place.
Staff friendly and no joiners fee. At the moment they have promotion 4 nights for the price of 3 (3000bht), includes free pick up at airport (incoming only) and free 1 hour spa. 076 341892 reservations.

Hi guys have anyone stayed at this Guest house (Lanna Thai) it advertised on other gay sites as gay friendly ...... i need to book a room early as i be in Phuket in the thai new year ...im stuck between which place any advice would be great
1.Lanna Thai Guesthouse 900 baht a night
2.Siam Palm 1200 a night
3.KN Guesthouse 1200 a night

I'm surprised that you still haven't made your mind up on which place to stay.
Is this the place that you mean? www.lannathaiphuket.com (http://www.lannathaiphuket.com/about.php)

We are located on Nanai Road on the beautiful Paradise Isle of Phuket. We are located 5 minutes by taxi to the nightlife and shopping of Patong, including the famous Paradise Complex...
The pics on the website look VERY gay!

Lanna is the furthest away from Paradise complex and the beach. KN is the closet to both and Siam Palm is not as far away as Lanna. Lanna would probably be ok if you will have a motorbike all the time. However, without a motorbike it is a loooong walk or hiring a mototaxi is quite expensive in Phuket.

For me the location of the guesthouse has alot to do with where I stay in Phuket since I like to be able to walk to the gay clubs and bars at night. For example, I stayed at Guesthouse One Seven which is known to have better rooms than most of the places around Paradise Complex, but it was such a pain to go back and forth between where the action was and the hotel. My BF and I just got back from staying at the Aquarius Guest House for the first time and will go back there again. I alway avoided the place thinking that it would be too noisy but it was quiet...and surprisingly the rooms were comparable to Club One Seven (but we spent more money and stayed in one of the suites-but worth it). The price may seem more than some of the other guesthouses, but it does include using the sauna-steamroom area and small gym free; plus a full breakfast (included) is served until 11:30am which was great for us. Great staff.

KN Guesthouse has a very good location. Very close to The Paradise Complex and the beach. Other guesthlouse in the same are is Baan Tiptop and The Birdcage. Right now i stay in Poppa Palace which I can highly recomend. This is a real bargain at 1100 baht/night in low season (booked via Sawadee.com).
But the rates goes up sa from 1 November to around 2500 I think.

I cannot find Lanna on this map of gay Patong But Siam Palm is shown and it is a little over 5 minutes stroll from Paradise

SP is also very handy to the gay beach .I found the narrow staircase difficult but the reception carried my bags upstairs without being asked. Here is a link to their website
