Some time ago there was some verbage about Monty's being closed. It is up and running. Would you believe he has stopped smoking. He tossed a neat birthday party for a couple of the guys who work for him. He even had fireworks display to finish the evening. if you can imagine fireworks shooting up higher than the buildings, the only down side was after the explosions all the debris fell back to the ground and guess who was sitting under the fall out.. A bit messy but fun.
I am not the poster for all the cutting edge stuff in Jomtien and Sunee, but a big announcement was made at the party..
Monty is selling his bar to ADAM, another Aussie. Monty will stay on, but the deal is done and Adam is the new owner of Monty's Bar. The name will stay the same, he has the best sign in all Jomtien, you can see it way down the soi.
