Has anyone had any experience with who I'm assuming are freelancers that stand on steps to a building virtually across from soi Twilight ? They are mainly hunky mature (by this boards standards for Thais) guys.

Is there any direct experience or knowledge amongst Board members ?

Is there any direct experience or knowledge amongst Board members ?I can say that one guy I've seen standing there used to be a regular money boy at Telephone Bar - ten years ago. I think "mature" is certainly a word I'd apply to him. Pretty much anyone you pick up on the street is At Your Own Risk

I have this friend who picked this independant MB (Money Boy) or should I say MM (Money Man). If it is the hunky one who often sports a white T shirt with a base ball cap then he used to work in Tawan. He is straight but I was told quite safe. Apparently you will catch him working out in Lumphini Park in the late afternoon / early evenings. If you go to a short time hotel lke Suriiwong the attendant will ensure all is well too as he (MM) is known in that area bad for business otherwise. There is another chap again often in a white T shirt very army looking whom I am informed is similar in nature. Like anything else take percautions always take your money into the bathroom with you in a short time hotel and if you are doing it back in your hotel at least your receptionist should take his ID. Lock everything up before you go out and keep only so much cash with you.

I think the street boys are hardly any worse than the bar boys. Bad apples are everywhere to be found and much depends on the individual. Complain to a bar about any boy and you will get lip service from the Mamasan that they will look into it and have a word with the boy but rest assured nothing else will be done to remedy the situation. Its all a show. "They Thai so they Lie!"

I knew one boy that use to be in front of the Watergate (?) near Robinsons that was the best guy ever. I have lost track of him but he was a great guy and I would love to meet up with him again. I usually only go with someone that has been recommended or onw tat I have talked with a few times.

Surely the steps and the building you're referring to, are on the SAME SIDE as the entrance to Soi Twilight?

There's a very cute 17/18 year old (certainly not 18/19) now doing business there.
Beware!... because there has been a scam or two sprung on falangs involving 17/18 year old young men (and corrupt police) in Sunnee recently.
These scams target non-paedophiles who like younger men. Obviously a small section of the police are more into graft than arresting child molesters.
If you fall into this legal honey-trap you'll be forced to buy your way out of a nightmare not of your making.

Wisely not mentioning the ancillary costs. For example I believe that safe sex, as it relates to you, involves the correct positioning of a fork lift truck.

Would that be on the steps of the Bank opposite the Wall Street Inn?

I had one guy from there last year. It went quite well, but a 550 bt bottle of whisky did walk from the minibar whilst my back was turned.

I was referring to the steps virtually opposite the Soi, looks like a white stone building with quite broad impressive staircase, the guys looked quite broad and impressive too which is what caught my attention. Thanks for the trickles of information.

They seem to scare me a bit, but only becasue they are responisble to no one, although I have seen some that look quite nice. My intuition tells me to stay away. There is no recourse if somethign goes wrong, and somethign terribly wrong cvould go bad easily. I like for some one to know where and with whom I was last seen.

Some guys from Tawan freelance after hours (or between jobs ;0)) around twilight. They are very safe, but why risk it; pay the bar fine and nothing to worry about.

Wall Street Tower is the name of the building.

?????????

None of this has anything to do with Soi Twilight

If you want to talk about Watergate start a thread on it. But lets help the guy about Soi Twilight as he asked.

It has been several years ago, but I picked up two very handsome young men across from Soi Twilight. I had arrived at the airport just after midnight. I checked in at the Pinnacle and was as horny as a three-balled tomcat. The bars were closed but that did not stop me. I spotted a few cute guys standing around and chatted them up. I talked to a guy that said he was a university student. He was with a friend and the friend was even cuter than the uni student. I invited the boys back and it was a nice encounter, overall.

I have picked up freelancers for years, both in Thailand and elsewhere. Bad things happen everywhere in the world, but I have been lucky and have not had problems. Follow your intuition, make sure your valuables are out of sight, and make sure your hotel security checks the ID of your new friend.

Well lets just say there was this friend of mine who was particularly horny last night (cat on a hot tin roof) and not having satisfied his appetite with a boy called Nuke from X-Size Bar went back out and found another on RAMA IV. It was a fun filled evening. Friend tends to pick people he can at least handle if situation got ugly. Although on saying that I am sure there have been many he could not handle. Trust your instincts would be my advise, if you feel something amiss trust your instinct.

Hey Wes we can meet in the openair Bar opposite Hotmale. I have Pmed you my number as I left my old sim at home.

I've posted this before. But here's a summary;
About 6 months ago a well experienced visitor booked into a guesthouse just off soi V.C. on the edge of Sunnee, Pattaya. Sometime on a late Saturday afternoon he brought back to his room a dark-skinned Malaysian boy who's well know around Sunnee. The boy`s name is known to me, he's 19 going on 20 and is quite a nice boy.
About 5 minutes later 3 or 4 men in plain clothes went through the small lobby/ bar area and went to the correct room and kidnapped this gentleman without any id or warrant. They claimed to be police.
They took him to Bangkok and held him in a hotel through Sunday and even had some drinks with him. They brought him to his bank on Monday morning from which he withdrew a large figure (in the region of 200,000/300,000) and handed it over to them. They kindly handed him back B3000 so he could get a taxi to Pattaya as they felt a bus ride would be too stressful. The man did return to Pattaya in a very distressed condition and related the story to a few friends.
How did these scammers get away with this?
1) The boy is an alien in Thailand and because he had no id and no rights they could impute any age they wished to him and get him to do anything they demanded of him.
2) It appears that the guesthouse management didn't lift a finger to help their guest. They could at least have called in the local police. Calling in the local police would not have made his situation any worse and would in fact have saved him.

That's the story. Amazing Thailand.
