IRC is WAY old-school. There's nobody on IRC anymore outside of bots trading stolen credit card data. It's all about online chat now, and video/VoIP. Bangkok Chat ( http://www.bangkokchat.org ) is very popular and there are some other sites you'll find via Google search.

IRc does still exist in thailand, but its indeed less popular than earlier.
5 years ago, u easily had 600+ chatters in the BANGKOK-GAY channel, nowadays just between 250-300, and indeed too many bots and clones.
oh, and u of course have to type thai to get into those channels, and ur computer has to be able to display Thai fonts in the IRC.
in some local Thai gay channels (such as Ubon Ratchathani, phitsanoluk, Surat Thani, Hat Yai, Chiang Rai) I have never ever seen a single Farang in 8 years.... but now those smaller channels are almost dead anyway.....

Chat is so last year......... Camfrog is where its at :idea:
