My favourite Thai film is "Tears of the Black Tiger" but I have a strange sense of humour.

Kurosawa's "Ran" is something I've watched more than once.

I found "Beautiful Thing" dire, not a patch on Isaac Julien's "Young Soul Rebels"

The Sound of Music (mainly because I met one of the actors who played a von Trapp boy and I fell in love with him )
