Damn near 90% of every girl I saw had a quater size scar on their shoulder. What are they branding these girls with?
this is an topic of a well known straight pattaya board, and the consensus is that they are from small pox vaccinations , I have seen many scars over the years (most due to motocy accidents) but not that much on the shoulder , do they only brand the girls http://images.fok.nl/s/confused.gif
I just had a look at my BCG (anti-TB innoculation) scar. I was a picker so it took a long time to heal but now it's less than the size of a 5p coin (smaller than a quarter, I think) and an "innie". Most of the shoulder scars I've noticed in Thailand are "outies" and considerably bigger. I'd always assumed they were the BCG.
Darker skined people are more inclined to keloid (Outie).
Had asked Bang if he had scars on both shoulders from carrying water pails: On a yoke. He told me he scratched vacination, then scratched the other shoulder--And vacinated themself on that other shoulder. Since then, a couple others have told me the same.
Girls are often vacinated on the outer thigh: where it won't show, 'they' say--ha, ha!
Why they vacinate on the upper shoulder, I don't know...less likely to be hit or bumped than the upper arm? Guess: As well as tattooing; Thai go in for scarification--Maybe they think it's attractive there?
One Num had a complicated scar, on his tummy, that is a common scarification design but tried to convince me it was 'operation'...and he--Water Buffalo Story #306--still..."Need money...pay...doctor." I said, "Well, I wouldn't pay him either!...if he gave me a scar that looks like a dragon!" (Nice try, Num--And so much for that.)
