Very sad news. Every now and then there's some piece of news that just makes you feel your years - To me Paul Newman will always be the youthful thirty something of "The Hustler".

Very sad news indeed and news that leaves me feeling, the exact same way as you do ceejay. :-(

a truly lovely and humane man..but he made it to his 80's ! Adored by everyone.
I know 3 charities that benefited from the proceeds of that great Paul Newman's sauces. Remember him when you are in the supermarket..every penny of profit goes to charity.

(PS: not a bad idea for Thai charities to approach the Foundation-donations have no philosphical catch and a well presented request is usually answered in the confirmative)

sadly his son Scott died of a drug ovedose many years ago which devestated he and his wife.
