Aso...did his mother name him after you? You know the old bird's spelling and pronunciation weren't terribly good.

What a coincidence. We (here in the colonies) too have had an Aso leading us for the last 7+ years....

"Taro" signifies he is the first-born son. The root kanji of "Aso" refers to hemp - the industrial not the smoking kind.
