I mentioned at lunch yesterday, one of the comic drag i Pattaya last trip,wore black makeup around his mouth and from a distance I fancied he had a moustache
First we laughed remembering all the pioneer drags in our part of the world who danced on bars, no stages then, all with mo, goatee or full beard They were making a statement and called themselves cocks in frocks
The WWB comic is solid not fat, looks to be around 30 and has some talent. But the fact he opts to send himself up as a man wearing a dress, no false tits, camping it up but not mincing was a hoot. For too long we have had grossly overweight comic drags that seemed to have no originality in their act
I saw some beautiful young drag at Dudes, but too often our gay bars get whats left over from the bigger shows
I could not recall whether this performer did the duet from Phantom of the Opera with a muppet doll. Firstly I thought the muppet was a better lip synch than the drag, but it was original
