maybe smiles can tell more?

"One of the locations the directors specifically requested was the Kao Luang Temple in Petchburi, about two hours south of Bangkok," says Perry. "This is for the scene where Fon takes Joe to a temple. It's deep inside a mountain cave filled with Buddha statues. Sunlight pours down from an opening at the top of the mountain -- it makes the cave really, really beautiful."

Khao Luang Cave, Hua Hin is one of the main attractions of the old town of Phetchaburi that is famous for its beautiful temples and architecture. Regarded as the most important cave in Petchaburi, Khao Luang Cave is noted for its beautiful Buddha image cast by the order of a king.

yes-in a place called "Hollywood" which is a suburb of Los Angelos-although they've probably dismantled it by now.

The cave scene was a moment of beauty. I thought when they showed the Patpong sign at the start of the movie there would be of lot of it in the film, but alas this was not the case. I sort of liked the time when the young man had a cardboard with pics of Rolex watches and he was trying to sell a tourist a Rolex as he pinched his wallet. Someone mentioned parts of the movie reminded them of James Bond type movies. I thought since it had so many visually dark scenes, it brought to mind Batman. Was somewhat surprised at so many really dark scenes.
