However, if you can read Thai script you will save money. Most Thai newspapers are 10 baht.

MUCH worse than the just-declared State of Emergency! ( http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2008/09 ... 082270.php (http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2008/09/02/headlines/headlines_30082270.php) )

Cheers ...

Homintern's face-sitting adventures may well be curtailed.Thank god I can save the 30 baht by reading it online. Hwever this should send WhiteDesire and his penny-pinching pals ("Where I got the really, really best exchange rate down to the last satang and filled in my day in Pattaya") into paroxysms of delight (??) as they realise how much less they can buy for their money

That's a lot bigger jump than my oft-most taxi ride went up, 41 to 47 baht (an increase of 15%).

Dear All,

I'm just nipping out to catch some bugs which I will take home to deep fry - thus avoiding the rip-off street vendors who have increased the price of a fried grasshopper by no less than 2 Satangs in the last 6 months!

DISGRACEFUL!!!
