1 China 48 17 27 92

2 United States 31 36 36 103

3 Russian Fed 19 20 23 62

4 Great Britain 18 13 14 45

5 Germany 15 10 15 40

6 Australia 13 14 17 44

7 South Korea 11 10 8 29

8 Japan 9 6 10 25

It's pretty obvious to me. Everyone is 34/34/34 or 20/20/20 or 15/15/15 or 10/10/10 but China is 50/20/20. China is skewed a little out of balance with the rest of the world. WHY could that be?

I think the little gymnastic girl who looks about 12, claims to be 16 and the media says might be 10-is probably 35 in reality !

The most amusing moment ( with apologies for those affected) was the sectioned off "demonstration zones " where those wishing to demonstrate against whatever-could apply for a permit and secure themselves in the correct area and shout to their hearts delight.

Everyone who applied-was promptly arrested. :blackeye:

By your logic, Arnold, we Brits must be the biggest cheats, but Scotsman Chris Hoy did a lot to boost our British tally.

They are calling it TeamGB in honour of our Scottish Prime Minister (not).

Whether this morning's fiasco in the Taekwondo was an attempt at cheating by the Chinese or just symptomatic of brittle rules in judging Taekwondo is debatable. Anyway after protests and the probability of the BBC showing the tape to the world forever, the decision was reversed.

Any rivalry with the Aussies dissolved when their out gay diver won Gold today. Even the British coach was seen congratulating him. Course it is a standing up sport - sort of.
