View Full Version : The Archbishop of Canterbury's views on homosexuality

August 7th, 2008, 17:29
The Guardian today has published excerpts from letters Rowan Williams wrote in 2000-2001 about the supposed immorality of homosexual acts. It's bad news for those who think screwing a different boy every night will somehow be okay; apparently promiscuity is still unacceptable
An active sexual relationship between two people of the same sex might therefore reflect the love of God in a way comparable to marriage, if and only if it had about it the same character of absolute covenanted faithfulness. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/au ... .gayrights (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/aug/07/anglicanism.gayrights)

I wonder how he feels about love expressed in the form of face-sitting?

Fattman, I've been saying the same thing for years. These jerks actually have the audacity to criticize another lifestyle, when the one they live is incredibly weird. I wonder if any of them read the passage where Christ tells the hypocrites to judge not least ye be judged. Maybe when these chosen of the lord stops buggering boys, defrauding their congregations and sleeping with their congregants wives, I will believe the sincerity of their judgment. That should be one day after hell freezes over.
