I got an email from a list I just joined from a Thai boi asking am I a silver

daddy, and I am not sure how to answer.

I have been called a walking ATM,and a lot of other names but a silver

daddy?

What are the qualifications and why am I not gold level?

Is there a gold, silver and bronze level?

What about a learner?

I am still in shock at being called pa pa. ( later thought it should have been

grand papa)

What is this new expression and how should I reply.

First time one called me pa pa, I thought he was saying papaw, which is a rotten fruit--And, though accurate, I was still a bit offended.
Silver daddy, I think, has to do with hair color...silver is currently 'in.' Several num have told me I look like Clooney, Crooney, Clowney, Looney...and one told me I, "Look like...cute...Narok," so I tell them my name's Geolge and to hell with it. (But my favorite is still, 'Golden-haired Dragon.')

Silver is to do with hair colour and age.
Daddy means you pay for everything.

I am not silver as of yet (just S&P) but being a daddy can mean many things - but primarily has the essence of roleplaying

In the most extreme sense it could even include infantilism - including diaper changes (ewwwww)

most generically it refers to older-younger relationships, and often means that the daddy "supports" the son - but somtimes it is a matter of the older partner taking on a role of mentor/protector whatever - being a "father"...with benefits...

Being a daddy is more a matter of psychology than chronology. On silverdaddies I identify myself as a daddy - and get messages from guys considerably older than my 38 years who are seeking someone who will "daddy" them

Are you a silver daddy? That is for you to answer

... "primarily has the essence of roleplaying"

You are overthinking this... As the previous post stated - You pay!....

I don't know which I prefer, 'silver daddy' (which I am unlikely to be referred to, as by the time I start going silver what remains of my hair will have vamooshed by then) or 'baby budha'. I suppose it's a little nickname applied to anyone who is slightly balding and on the more rotund side (okay downright fat) but, call me perverse, I kinda like it.

I've been with Silverdaddies for about a year and can understand why your correspondent doesn't like the site. I have "met" (in an online sense) many young men there, and to a person they tend to complain that so many of the older guys lose all interest if they don't agree to go immediately on webcam and wave their bits about. I have been fortunate to develop on-going friendships with 7 really attractive young men from all over the world (and I have chatted with them on cam, so I know that they *are* as attractive as their pictures!) and will, hopefully, meet them in real life someday. In the meantime, although most of them have removed their profiles from Silverdaddies, they have, at least, managed to meet one man who treats them with respect - while not being adverse to a bit of cam-fun from time to time.

At the same time, there are younger guys who are simply looking for cam adventures as well - or else will end up asking you to send money for some emergency (and these weren't Thai guys either! It actually seems to be a popular pasttime with Filipino guys....)

As the saying goes, the world wouldn't be a bad place if it weren't for the people - the same is doubly true for the internet!

Anyone know where 'Edith' disappeared to? The handle shows up in this thread (started in 2006!?) and reminded me that Edith's always-funny posts are very much missed.
