I hope I will not breaking the rules by giving this link to Aaron Lawrence's travel report about his travel to Cambodia and Thailand in November 2005.
This guy is an american sex escort (and former porn producer, but no porn on the site) and provides great reading (with pics !) about his visits.

I read the first page, which happened to be about a visit to Adonis Massage, thought "you've been comprehensively conned" at several points (including his statement about a "pineapple smoothie") and left it

Sorry, but not my idea of a great read.

So, Botting, what is your idea of a great read?

Do you think he is worth 350 dollar an hour?

If he opened his mouth only to suck my cock ... maybe. But probably not.

Well, many think he is. At the height of his career he had one of the most active websites for gay men anywhere. His website was not only about his escorting business but a very active porn company in which he starred and produced videos that sold like hotcakes. He also wrote a book on escorting that many new escorts bought. He had a great advice column on the Male Escort Review website. He was one of the first guys to start escorting on the web. The typical price for every agency in NYC is 300 US. His rate is only 50 more. Many would say that the price is a bargain. While personally I am not attracted to him, I know many who have been with him and said he was amazing in bed and one of the most attentive guys they have hired.

John of course I understand you ... the difference being that you are now in Pattaya and I am stuck in boring Farangland

"I got as far as the Thai foodcourt experience and not being able to find a hamburger that was as good as the states. Typical Yank! "

How rude.

IтАЩm not sure there is a тАЬтАЬtypicalтАЭтАЭ Australian. If there were one I wonder if you would qualify. I think of Australians as being very considerate.

I certainly hope you can manage a more accommodating fa├зade when dealing with your American costumers.

Geezer - I entirely agree with you. Crass generalisations about other nations and races are offensive and don't even have the excuse of being witty. However, my recollection (I'm sad to say), is that Mr Botting is a fellow Brit rather than an Australian). Raising the issue of cultural differences in either a serious or playful way, is perfectly acceptable, provided it is not done simply to cause offence or try to demonstrate one's own (self assessed) superiority. Genuinely witty jibes are probably OK too, because true wit always contains at least a dollop of truth in it. Being a fellow Brit I can usually see Homintern's tounge in his cheek when he is baiting people, but I can understand why others sometimes don't.

I'm not sure why Homintern and some others took against Aaron Lawrence's site so much. It's not great literature, but at least the writing isn't pretentious. If the things he is describing wern't already familiar (and easily within reach) I would have found his account interesting, helpful and probably something of an eye opener. I agree he doesn't capture anything of the spitit of Thailand or Thai people (which is perhaps what Homintern meant by his pineapple smoothie coment) but at least he doesn't litter his prose with redundant or inappropriate adjectives - and he deals mattter of factly with issues better writers simply don't cover.

I didn't find his report to be interesting and quite a chore to get thru.. I did find some other things on his site interesting and he states that escorts add 2 inches and subtract 5 years, althou he doesn't ..
The other tidbit I got out of it was that he has size 5 1/2 shoes (tiny feet) and a big member.. I used to think there was a relationship between the size of a man's feet or hands and his member but it is all a crap shoot.....
