When I shared that commercial a while ago with friends here they said "I don't get it... the Thai must have a very strange sense of humor". There's no accounting for what people think is funny, I guess. The joke about the BTS photo is another example of that.

HOWEVER... this series of beer commercials for Cheers IS funny, I think:
