Could this happen in Thailand??

Cannabis blunder at Tokyo airport

The cannabis was hidden to test Narita airport's sniffer dogs
An unwitting passenger arriving at Japan's Narita airport has received 142g of cannabis after a customs test went awry, officials say.

A customs officer hid a package of the banned substance in a side pocket of a randomly chosen suitcase in order to test airport security.

Sniffer dogs failed to detect the cannabis and the officer could not remember which bag he had put it in.

Anyone finding the package has been asked to contact customs officials.

He/she will probably get caught with it in Changi Airport at Singapore and immediately beheaded after a quick charge, hearing, and trial.

Cheers ...

I hope the poor customs official resists the temptation to commit Hari Kari. I also hope the traveller has a particularly wonderful summer!!

It wasn't Paul McCartney's luggage by any chance, was it?

"Asahi Shimbun" reports on its front page today that the passenger has been identified and the package retrieved. The bag belonged to a passenger arriving from Hong Kong on a Cathay Pacific flight (probably CX412) around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The owner had already claimed the bag and left the terminal after the sniffer dogs failed to detect the drug.
