Dear Sawatdee Friends....

(I recognize that this posting is made on the Gay Thailand board...
vs other country board...but I believe it needs the attention of
the most forum readers...my apologies to the Mods...)

The tragedy from the recent Cyclone in Mynamar/Burma
has millions of Burmese struggling for their survival...

Their struggle has moved many of us to want to help...
and to try to find a good & honest way to help...
with proceeds going to the needy.

I believe I have found such a group of dedicated people
inside Burma that can help deliver much needed aid directly to those in need.

Friendly Planet has a travel agency inside Mynamar/Burma ..Exotissimo.com
and they have already begun delivering much needed aid to the Burmese homeless & needy.

You too can help by donating to their efforts...
via their Exotissimo.com partner in Burma.

"We donate rice bags, potatoes bags, bean bags to give them food.

We asked all victims to come and sit to get small bags of rice, soap,
instant noodles and potatoes to hold on the situation till international aids
are coming (hopefully).

We donate to more than 5000 people in the refugee camp and 2000
people on the way hand to hand delivery. So that we make sure that they got it."

Here is the e-mail I received from Friendly Planet
with more of their efforts to help the people of Burma:

Dear Friendly Planet Traveler,

Donate to Myanmar cyclone victims

I usually send you emails about our amazing travel deals, but today,
I want to tell you about a real opportunity to do something very important
for the people of Myanmar (Burma), who are caught in a catastrophe beyond imagination.

While Cyclone Nargis has caused unfathomable destruction and death
on a massive scale, the major problem right now is getting help to those who need it most.

There is also a tent in front of Wat Chai accepting donations--easy for those currently in Pattaya.
