KOH CHANG

Thinking of spending a few days on Koh Chang in September. Have searched and read earlier posts.

Appreciate any updated information and recommendations. What is the most developed part of the island where there is some nightlife, restaurants etc - prefer not get stuck on an isolated resort.

Spent 4 day, 3 nights on Koh Chang two weeks ago. White Sand Beach area has a nice collection of resorts, restaurants, and clubs. Dinner on the beach at night was delightful and lots of late night entertainment.

Gay scene is really low key. Suggest you bring a friend. However, you will find locals who are more than willing to have fun.

Koh Chang was a great to spend romantic quiet time with the BF. Days spent motorbiking around, snorkeling, or just fooling around in the pool or on the beach.

We stayed in the new section of Mac Resort. Brand new room with balconies overlooking both pool and beach. Woke up each morning to a beautiful view of the ocean.
