Tried to visit the Gay Thailand forum moderated by Gaybutton, however each time of three, my spyware software, Spyware Doctor, closed down the webpage noting that it was trying to place a trojan on my computer. I tried the second and third times to check that it wasn't a glitch. Spyware Doctor has never had such a reaction to a website before, and that site even seems to have been removed from my favourites!

there was a thread about this before. I know from personal experience that certain counters/scripts/cookies can trigger this alarm and that actually nothing sinister is going on at all. The software makers think better safe than sorry but scare the life outa some people.

here are some false positive articles on pc forums that might allay your fears - scan through both to find the comments.

I'll mention here one minor annoyance I have here at Sawatdee from time to time, not that ever mentionoing problems encountered here have ever seemed to result in any action, however.

Through some browser/proxy combinations (including through company firewalls) I sometimes get exception errors going to Sawatdee pages, the portal page in particular. SOMETHING on Sawatdee looks for D:/ drives (or just any CD drives). I have no idae and if you get this application crashing message/error try turning windows write to cd ON in your CD drives properties.

It could be caused by some user's avatar causing W to look for a drive somehow (hmmm).

Only on Sawatdee.

Lots about this out there like

Seems to be a result of some windows updates, like the fact that I can no longer open windows help files anymore (.cfm files).
