News has just reached us in Pattaya that Peter from Krazy Dragon has died from a heart attack. Earwig was contacted by the Mamasan..it's on Ooogleman..is this true?..sadly it's been confirmed by a few reliable sources in the last few minutes.

It is very sad when anyone dies (if this is the case with Peter).

I note the following from the gaytingtong site

"PETER OWNER OF CRAZY PUB fame? HAS JUST DIED ALLEGEDLY FROM A HEAT ATTACK, I CAN SAY NO MORE, AS IT WOULD NOT BE PRUDENT, AT THIS TIME?

SAME AS BIRDCAGE NOT RENEWING THERE LEASE?"

Am I totally misreading this or is the suggestion that someone knew Peter was going to die? Quite shocking if this is the suggestion!

Seems these guys are dropping like flies. Has anyone considered foul play?

Didn't he post yesterday under the Krazy Dragon handle, alleging that foreigners are not getting justice in the courts?

Yes, you're totally misreading it. !!! There was a (now deleted) thread posted on that forum that was posted inaccurately in haste. Thus the reference (in poor taste imho).

And...
Krazy Pub and Krazy Dragon are not the same bar.

Sadly, it has been confirmed...
as I was informed tonight by Erik (formerly of The Clubber Restaurant)
and now of of Sammy's Restaurant/Bar...

that Peter of Krazy Dragon had died of a heart attack
at 3:30pm while he was at Sammy's in Sunnee Plaza

Peter was 52 years of age...

Such a tragic happening...

May Peter Rest in Peace..

Krazy Dragon is in darkness tonight and there is a notice stating place is shut in respect of the passing of Peter- RIP.

TIT-there is bound to be much more to this story and the media hasn't picked it up yet. I dread to think what they will say.

Think what you want about Peter-he was a true Pattaya character and will be sorely missed.

My sincere condolences to his many close friends and family,
and to the employees at the Krazy Dragon. He will be missed.

May 13th, 2008, 00:08
After the initial confusion over Krazy Dragon and Crazy Pub and their owners, which I was an unwitting party to in another thread, surely now is NOT the time to post unsubstantiated speculation, hints and implications that someone may have died from something other than a heart attack and that there is "bound to be much more to this story". This is rumourmongering of the lowest order.

"This is rumourmongering of the lowest order. "

and that's what Pattaya-nay Thailand is fuelled on.

and if you don't know some of the problems Peter was facing then your head has been in the clouds..I suggest nothing about his death which seems perfectlty normal..in fact may have been a blessed release.

there is however an undeniabled truth that cannot be silenced by such prudish statements as yours-the dead cannot be libelled. The lower orders demand nothing less.

May 13th, 2008, 00:46
and that's what Pattaya-nay Thailand is fuelled on.

In that case it is time to change to something less polluting.

Your original post, citing the wrong bar and consequently the wrong person as having died, is a prime example of why any such rumour should be checked; editing the original post to cover up your mistake, which was clearly posted all too hastily, hardly lessens the blunder.

May 13th, 2008, 03:19
Unlike some, who have proved by their despicable and contemptible posts, both here and on other forums, I am deeply saddened to learn of Peter's death. RIP Peter, You will be sadly missed by many.

It is sad to see our "brothers" pass away ... but I think as we get older we need to realize we just can't sit around and not pay attention to our life style... we need to be careful in what we eat/ drink; exercise everyday; and not to be smoking. It is too easy here in Pattaya to ignore what good HEALTH is for us- it doesn't come naturally.

May 13th, 2008, 06:43
RIP Peter, You will be sadly missed by many.Thank god the Internet, or at least this Board, is available in the afterlife

May 13th, 2008, 07:25
To die at age 52 from a heart attack is a true shame. A simple yearly Treadmill Test can eliminate this occurance in most men. I don't know if it's the case here, but so many men have an unrational fear of doctors and checkups. :(

The Krazy Dragon was my favorite spot for the past few visits. The guys were all friendly to me and added to the Pattaya experience. I am sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He ran the best of the joints, IMHO.

yes well spotted Gone Fishing..I did change the words for accuracy- so shoot me as you must be the most useless fisherman since JC walked the Dead Sea..weirdly enough it's not uncommon from where I come from to go back and correct ones spelling mistakes without being hung drawn and quartered by some demented queen who screeches her discovery of a small mistake from the battlements.

what do you use on your fishing capers...a blunderbuss ?

and there we have Pattaya in a nutshell...Peter carks it and the barbs come flying from all angles including those who live in a dream land that despite Peter always having been a terribly nice chap to me..if I site half what I heard in Boyztown and Sunnee Plaza last night it was a cross between crocodile and genuine tears.

You make up your own minds -but be a bit sensible and don't shot the messenger no matter what you think of them.

Peter is probably at this moment chortling at the side of Buddha ( or God knows who) at the silly lot in tits town re-making his image over drinks .

oh dear-they just don't get do they.the following message appears on Ting Tong the shame of it all):
************************************************

All i will say mr o`booze say is i wonder why you always copy earwigs posts minutes after they appear here to sawatdee. Are you his stalker or friend or? anyways we are not going to play your little game. (what game ?)
the porn adverts in my signature have been there since day one of this forum. i will remove them if anyone wants to pay for the running costs of the forum its only a few thousand dollars a year.

remember rule number 1 please everyone - no personal attacks!! (oh you mean like the ones attacking Earwig for his maner of posting in the said thread?)

mel is standing by with his ban stick....hes much less tolerant than i. ( whose mel and his ban stick ?..can I buy one like Edina did in Absolutely Fabulous ?)

Oogie - i locked this thread - enough is enough.! (you can say that again)

anyone who doesn't like our style here please leave - there are many other thai forums you can post on and we will not let you spoil the fun of our regular thailand loving members. ( you said it..we can't have a thread about the death of Krazy Dragon Peter and all the fun that follows descending into a laugh a minute about Earwig and your tasteless adverts for adult porn diverted out of respect for even ONE MINUTE even for the pretentious Lady Of The House can we )
Ting & Tong********************************************** ***

You sound like a bunch of Victorian ladies lifting their skirts mock in horror after spotting a bit of dog poo.

May 13th, 2008, 11:21
Do i read this correctly that Tingtong is paying thousands of dollars a year to run his website? If so, tell him to feel free to PM me and I will happily recommend many reliable, fast hosts, with can handle his site very easily for a whole lot less.

oh the hosting costs arent very much, but we throw 3-4 parties a year and give cash prizes for compys etc. then theres the charitable events etc.

READ IT ALL HERE!!!!: http://www.gaytingtong.com/post16023.html#16023

Earwig's last post in the thread has got it all. Exploitation of the deceased for scooping purposes. 978 question marks in violet colour. Pink lettering all capitalized regarding another scoop totally off topic from the original scoop. An incomprehensible Earwig diatribe about "something or other". Our beloved Out t' Lunchtime losing his lunch in an equally incomprehensible rant. Oogleman gets right uppity. The owner of Ting Tong Board closes the thread because he won't allow "this kind of nonsense" on his Board.
How do they do it for the money?

Ya gotta love it. Haven't seen "this kind of nonsense" for some years. Greatly missed :geek: :geek:

(Meanwhile: over at Baht-Stop and GayThailand, everyone's in a (LBrichly deserved) coma).

Cheers ...

"Ya gotta love it. Haven't seen "this kind of nonsense" for some years"..you should get out more.

In case you didn't notice Smiles as most things seem to pass you by-the point is in the bizarre mock outrage at Earwig's peculiar style of posting-all manner of nutters descended to turn a post on the death of Peter into a diatribe on Earwig.(you included even giving a odd interpretation into why Earwig writes in the manner he does !)

Nothing new there of course.

cheers ! ( God..that always sounds soooo creepy)

###by the way..poor old Peter is still kaput.

#### whatever Pan and his big stick or whoever posted that mad post about being a friend of Earwig (not yet a crime) and that posts appeared shortly after on Sawatdee -he seemed to think was the oddest thing on the planet rather than perhaps people chatting to each other and communicating news. Heaven forbid..you would think these boards were for disseminating news !!

May 13th, 2008, 13:53
And...
Krazy Pub and Krazy Dragon are not the same bar.

Sorry to show my ignorance of the bars in Sunee but it's several months since I've been there.
I thought Krazy Pub became Krazy Dragon a year or two back ... but the owner was the same. Can someone please explain?

and RIP, Peter.

Hey I used to enjoy the droll humor of lunchtime and wonder when it went from fun to heavy defense of LMTU. Why.

The suggestion they may be the same person made me wet my pants with laughter, but now the style has changed

I am not sure

Lunchtime you used to be a fun poster, I did not always agree with you, but liked your attitude

Your attitude has become bitter and it all seems to be in defence of LMTU. Earwig and all the other different names.

Please shake off this blanket and get a life again. I and I think others used to look forward to your posts

You were fun. Please return

May 13th, 2008, 19:27
I did change the words for accuracy.... it's not uncommon .. to go back and correct ones spelling mistakes .... a small mistake

I, too, have edited posts at times to correct syntax, however I would not put this in the same category as announcing the death of entirely the wrong person, particularly when you not only state that it has "been confirmed" but also follow it by insinuations that something untoward may have happened - this constitutes a "small mistake" in much the same way that Jimmy Carter described the failed rescue attempt of the US Embassy hostages in Iran in 1980 as "an incomplete success".

....the most useless fisherman since JC walked the Dead Sea.

John 21:6

....and if you don't know some of the problems Peter was facing then your head has been in the clouds

Since I seldom visit the bars, as I have made clear and which is why I seldom post about them, there is no reason why I should know the intimate details of the personal lives of anyone involved with them, as you pride yourself on doing.

....don't shot the messenger ....

Why not? You wrote the message.

Back to Peter: Did he have a heart condition? Did he smoke, drink and was he overweight? Way too young to die!

Did you ever see the "specials" at the place he was eating when his "ticker" finally gave up the ghost? He ate there often too. His bar was always full of cigarette smoke on top of that. But he was colourful and fun to be around, and I lament losing him.

There are various tests to detect heart disease, the Treadmill Test being one of them . Others are electrocardiogram and cardiac echogram. But the best test is a Cardiac CAT scan which can detect early signs of coronary artery disease before other symptom are present. The test is very simple, easy and not expensive (10,000TB/300USD). Results of this test will tell you if you have little risk; need to take medication; require stents or bypass surgery; or notify you next of kin and mortician.

No one may know the exact cause of Peter's heart failure, however everyone should take some precautions to protect their health.

May 14th, 2008, 08:00
The Cardiac CAT scans are a great idea. I have one about every 2 years because of my family history. Insurance won't pay, but the cost keeps going down. I paid $250 a few months ago...

Not a bitter bone in my body Loney Wombat but yes-when I see a friend like Earwig being ravaged by a pack of she wolves that frequent the bars of Pattaya I shall defend...(surely you would do the same for a mate)

..I've told the man to sue some of the characters for libel under Thai law including the drunken nutcase with the dirty inn who spread his viscous lies but his lawyer said "why bother..they bugger's broke anyway !"

And watching "another board" with it's pompous owner's pronouncements of such propriety which he then blatantly breaks himself to reveal he is not a gentleman is too much fun to ignore.

But back to Peter..he was only just a minor partner in Krazy Dragon lately and let's face it, people drop dead all over the world from heart attacks..the sad truth.

Gone Fishing..stop showing you ignorance..poor Peter had some dreadful problems coming up in the courts which cannot be swept under the carpet you ignorant dill and I doubt the Pattaya tabloids will resist printing them.

good advice as offered up by francois on getting a CAT scan done, it could save or add years to some of our lives..

I know I stop and think when a man in his prime adult years drops dead.. We are more used to long lingering deaths
among older men.. Peter looked hale and healthy to the end and walked and behaved like a fit, healthy man..
Of course, the endless chain smoking was a sign of health issues, but it was a shock to see this burly man pass so
quickly. I had heard he was not one to go to the hospital for check-ups and no doubt had underlying health issues
that might have been helped if he had a CAT scan and/or curbed the cigarette smoking..

There is a lesson here for all of us and the wise will listen and the fools will think it is all about them.. There are several
"walking dead" looking men who frequent Sunee Plaza and several of them would have been no surprise if they died as
they looked like they were steps away from the coroner's office but Peter looked like he had many years ahead of him..

Bangkok Pattaya International Hospital currently has a 2 for 1 special.. Convince a friend to get a check up and do the right thing
as a way of finding some good in this untimely death.. There is no time like right now boys... :cat:

Lunchtime O'Booze
May 14th, 2008, 11:40
yes..the Cat's right..let's get the subject off old Boozy and back on keeping healthy.

There seem to be two types of farangs in Pattaya..those who meet their maker rather earlier than expected and those who live to a ripe old age.( apart from those who have unfortunate balcony accidents)

Indeed in my Condo I marvel at 2 gents both in their late 80's who are still reveling in good health and I reckon it's the lifestyle in Pattaya that's probably added 20 years to their time. Then again they probably don't pack away the booze.

I'd say Peter lived in the fast lane and that's how he liked it. But given everything Thailand has to offer..you really have the opportunity to calm your life to an even pace and with regular check-ups ( especially at these prices) sqeeze as many days as you can out of this lifetime.

(that said..I now forgive Oogleman..and profess my love for him even though he's banned me which is probably very sensible to both his and my health)

Gone Fishing..stop showing you ignorance.... you ignorant dill

Clearly I am in the wrong - I took what you and LMTU/Earwig posted to be correct; rest assured I will try not to make the same mistake again.

You are right - I should have known instinctively who you were talking about, even when you named a totally different person as having died.

You are right - I should stop showing my ignorance of subjects about which I have made clear I know relatively little, such as Pattaya's bars and bar owners, and resolve to become better informed about this all too important subject.

You are right - I should follow your example and learn about these individuals' personal lives as well, so that I too can post slurs and innuendos about them, dead or alive, so that everyone can see how well informed I am.

You are right - "viscous lies" are being spread - some of them are bound to stick.

But the fact remains that an electrocardiogram should be part of a regular exam along with blood pressure reading. Certainly the ECG should be part of an annual routine exam. If a doctor suspects a problem he may call for an echocardiogram, "echo stress test" or even a "MIBI stress test" which is rather definitive. Routine blood and urine analysis should be part of the annual routine check up as well as annual routine chest x-ray. People over fifty should have a colonoscopy and follow the doctor's advice on how often this should be done. ALWAYS watch for any irregularities such as blood in urine or stool and any lumps or growths anywhere on the body. Be suspicious of dark spots on the skin and check with a dermatologist if a spot starts to grow or get darker.

I think francois was trying to point us in this direction and should be thanked.

That's the 18 Century version of, "I did not have sex with that woman"

Jefferson should have enshrined that in the American Constitution! Now I have yet another reason to like Jefferson. Wow! What a breath of fresh air from Bush. And anyway, maybe he was just forward thinking since 14 is the age of consent in Hawaii, and if you haven't noticed, Americans are trying to make the whole world their slave these days.
