However I was rather taken with Glitter's defence to possessing pornographic images on his computer as being the result of the computer having been given to him, images intact, by an Australian friend. Nor do I know if he's guilty or innocent but being convicted in a Vietnamese court means little to me in regards to the truth.

Nor should people jump to the obvious and believe that GG is guilty just because some sleazy British rags have gone overboard and described his so-called actions that would indicate he has done what he was accused of 100 times more when no such evidence was produced, or that a court in a country we westerners consider so odious because it has a Communist government but accept their actions when the media tells us to.

GG was deported from both Cuba and Cambodia who had absolutely no evidence against him but after blatant and vicious campaigns by the News Of The World and The Sun Newspaper.

People should also be aware : GG has claimed he welcomes being deported back to the UK within a year (where he will most like receive a few months for not enetring his name on an offendors list) but will also be likely charged under UK law and he claims he will be vindicated on the "dodgy" evidence presented in Vietnam and then attempt to clear his name in Vietnam.
