I was shocked to learn about the lack of supplies being sent to Burma; so far all we're sending is bottled water!

That's absurd. With 1/3 of the country flooded, perhaps some towels might be a better choice?

Huh? Potable water is the first need. You don't die or get too diseased by being wet.

This goes from worse to worst.

The Jerks are now denying entry to those who might have an idea of what to do. Impounding aid already sent and only dealing with those they trust who haven't exactly got brilliant records for saving life in a crisis. Rather the opposite.

Maybe a small overflight of their precious new capital city would help them see that they could become vulnerable to more than their own people.
