It could be years before you know if you caught something.Hpv virus has no symptoms,some strains will give you warts.Eventually it may give you anal,penile or throat cancer.Who knows if you have a dormant virus that someday will turn to cancer. I know one trip I had a rash on my foot and then had the flu.Im sure I caught something but it could not be diagnosed. I was tested for hiv,hep c,syphillus,ghonerhea,all negative.
