View Full Version : Monogamy, anyone?
In memory of the late departed:
This is not a poll.
This question is mostly directed to farang living in Thailand, who (while living in Farangistan) may have been monogamous simply because there wasn't any other choice.
But now you (said farang) are living in the land of a thousand opportunities. Do you (still) adhere to "the monogamous standard?" (Sub-question: do you think that "the monogamous standard" has anything at all to do with gay men?) (Sub-sub-question: do you think a "normal red-blooded" gay man in Thailand has much chance at all of hoisting that rather wilted standard?)
... may have been monogamous simply because there wasn't any other choiceI've always thought monogamy is for those who lack imagination

Jack and Gill met just after college and moved in together, remaining monogamous until both were 40. When they realized what they had done, each traded the other for two 20-year-olds. They all lived happily ever after, but never again had as much money.

Why in god's name would this topic be moved to the Global Forum? It's 'about' relationships with gay Thai men/boys ... what other forum should it live in besides the Gay Thailand Forum ?
The only thing the Moderator has managed to do by moving it, is to limit the number of replies. Wow, what an accomplishment!

Jinks, would it possible for you to answer the question I asked, rather than slipping in and out with a completely meaningless comment?
In most polite society, asking a reasonable 'why?' question would normally elicit an intelligent 'because of this' answer.

A polite request would have been made privately not publicly.
