Our Oogleman - fellow forum member here and owner of the
Gay Ting & Tongs website has posted his report with photos of the
Birdcage "Rear of the Year" Contest held Friday night March 28th in Pattaya...

"Well Rear of the Year was a fabulous night and was pleased to see quite a few
ting tong members there. Hope you enjoy the pics below and gayaffairs -
numbnuts oogleman forgot spare batteries so didnt get any pics of the winners/prizes etc -
can you email some to me my darling?

Anyone get a photo of those HUGE pizzas? they were so tasty.

A goodly amount was raised for charity ( over 40,000?) and
buying bananas was a nice change from the roses.

There was a lot of hooting and hollering
( yes Betty we could hear you all the way from UK lol)


I love this venue and will be going many more times as long
as they will let me in and put up with me!

Thanks Marsha & Kevin for quite a few very
entertaining evenings - see you soon!!"

March 28 saw the first Rear of the Year competition
at The Birdcage Pattaya on Soi Day Night.

Thirteen young Thai contestants bared their bums
in the hope to be chosen as Birdcage Rear of the Year
and a chance to win 10,000 Baht.

Also there was the most "popular" rear chosen by members
of the audience who purchased "bananas" to give to their favourite.

The money from these sales were donated to the SOS Rice Appeal.

The audience were also treated to a cabaret show,
a guest appearance by Miss Karen from the original "Les Girls" in Australia,
free pizza from Pizza Pizza in the Avenue,
plus the whole event was broadcast live on "Yesterday 2day FM"."
