... As many of you may know, once you reach in your late 40's and on...the man's testosterone level goes down just like a woman's estrogen level goes down. For us guys who still exercise in the gym or do other kinds of "exercise", having a lower count of testoterone can make a difference. According to various articles, lower testosterone not only effects ones sexual performance, but also limits the growth of muscle, increases weight, and increases moods---.

So has anyone found a natural supplement that they are happy with? Some of these supplements may have ginseng, tribulus extract , or some other herb in it.

(For you jesters out there :clown: , I'm not talking about your Viagras or Kamagra Jells--those are for erectiions. I am focussing on the lack of testosterone which is different. )

Your doctor can prescribe Testosterone (it's now available in a gel that you put on your arm once a day). However, Your own testicles will become lazy if the body is receiving it from a gel or shot. They will shrink up like walnuts over time.

And, there can be side effects of testosterone therapy, including acne. Don't laugh. I ended up with a zit the size of a 10-baht coin on my butt and needed minor "surgery" (scalpel to lance through layers of flesh) to get rid of the damned (and very painful) thing!

More likely, though, is a return to that oh-so-lovely adolescent pimple face. All the more charming on a 50+ year old man....

is believed to possibly cause prostrate cancer, which is why I stopped taking it.My doc told me so as well as reading about up about it.They say that if we cut off our genitals we might add another 10 years to our lives. How many horny guys in Thailand would do that? The gel is easy to use and made me feel like I was 18 again.Unbelievable sex! But ill take less great sex and maybe avoid cancer. Not to be a total downer here so ill add that ejaculating is good for you and maybe prevents cancer.

I talked about it to my doctor, and no way I could change his mind, normally I will get what I want, but on this, I could do nothing. Cancer was the word he used again and again

Yes, with all the articles that are out there, it warns of cancer spreading in the prostrate if there is any lingering in there. I know about the chances of taking the jells or hormone tablets, I was focussing on a natural supplement for the drop in testosterone production .

I have prostate cancer and have to have oestrogen (female hormone) every 3 months so I am now totally
impotent.

Incidentally why is it that 99% of men call it prostrate instead of prostate. Its like saying penes instead of penis. It surprises me because prostate cancer is the biggest killer of men in the world so people should be very familiar with it.

The link between testosterone therapy and prostate cancer seems in dispute.

A Thai doctor told me that prostate cancer is comparatively rare in farangs living in Thailand as it is more common amongst those who no longer practice regular sex! I am not sure if this is true or not.

Thrillbill, try andriol, which is readily available over the counter in Thailand, although you will need to take a considerable quantity for it to have any effect. I am only informing you, however, not recommending, as I think what you have said previously about your diet indicates that you are making a lot of potential medical problems for yourself in the not too distant future.
