Loy Krathong

Can some one please tell me whtn Loy Krathong will be in 2006. Have been there for thsi holiday and really enjoy the festivites. Either let me know or put in on the board.

I should be there if we are still allowed to enter Thailand

Here you can see when the different festivities take place. Of course the biggest event is in Sukhothai historical park.

That's one of the attractions of visiting LOS: their year is marked by different festivals - L/Krathon & S/krang etc. The guys I meet have no idea what Easter is about, and only a vague understanding that Christmas exists - about the only festival we have in common is January 1st - it is such an enriching pleasure to move in a different culture.

What does IIz know, to finish off with his enigmatic: "if we are still allowed to enter Thailand" ??
