Buy drink at Dick Cafe 'only inside in plastic warm conductor cup'

Off to Ptya for a few days. Bar owners can't serve grog. OK mai pen rai

Arrive back in Bangkok Thursday 3pm. Go to 7-11 to buy grog. Sorry cannot buy grog until 5pm. OK mai pen rai

Saturday 1 March, Cannot buy grog from 6pm until midnight 2 March.

Apparently the authorities want the voters to be sober when they vote in the belief it will make a difference. Duh.

Bottled beer was readily available in all the bars I visited last night in Bangkok

DJ station wasn't serving Alcohol, most other places in Silom area were serving Alcohol.

Thong Lor and Klong Tan police districs (the area I stay at), are stricly no alcohol. The ban will be lifted at midnight.
