NOt all of us here in Pattaya are retired or on holiday able to sleep in the next morning...some of us DO work for a living; thus, wouldn't it be better to have it on a Friday or Saturday night for these fun events ?

Originally Kevin had announced the grand opening to be on March 1, a Saturday, but decided (wisely, IMHO) to move the opening to March 2, because of election laws which prohibit serving alcohol on March 1.

I suspect he is pressing hard to have the place ready for opening in time (if you've ever had construction or renovation work in Thailand, you'll sympathize!) and to move the opening date *earlier* to Feb 29th probably would have been suicidal.
