Rent weekly stay apartment in Bangkok

Hi,

I plan to stay one week in Bangkok to visit the city and around in october. I tried to find weekly stay apartment, I found a lot but I'm not sure I could invite a friend. Is anyone have rent this kind of apartment ? Or can I find a good hotel which offer good rate when you stay a week ?

There's many options. What section of town? What price range? A serviced apartment or self-serve? An apt. with a kitchen or without?
With a full kitchen might be hard to find but there could be some.

For only a week would you not just be better off with a hotel or guest house?

Most places could care less if you took a joiner (friend) or two to your room.

The better value for your money are places that don't have web sites or agents. You just find them on your own, ask a motocy boy who is renting by the week around here and he will take you around. Most of the moto boys are from the neighborhood.
