I am not surprised at all that the current owner of Memories decided to sell. In my opinion it lost all the qualities that made it such a success. As many posters have said, good management and giving th customers what THEY want is so important. Just having the money to buy and open a bar does not guareentee profit.
I do wonder if the former owners would consider reopening the bar? It could be a big risk for them since most of the customers have moved either up the soi or to the next soi over. I would certainly think twice and though I would like to see them reopen
