is this a favorite from personal viewing or just an interesting urban legend perhaps?

I can recount a personal story however; I once remarked to a Thai boy that Christmas is a "Buddha Day" for Christians, and then asked him if he knew the name of the Christian Buddha. "Oh yes," he replied, "Santa Claus". Nevertheless I would be prepared to pay someone to make a Santa Claus figure on a crucifix - for personal use only

A popular favorite at the moment in Japan says it all: Mickey Mouse Christmas cakes. I saw several in the cake and bread department in my local Apita department store last night.

At the Bumrungrad waiting to see my Doc, I was surrounded by Muslim women shrouded in black and amply covered Indian in saris.

The I saw the TV. It was showing the International Federation of dance sport world championships. Nubile women clad in the merest fringe and a whisp of chiffon were bumping and grinding with enormous speed and vigour. More energy than is shown in the whole if walking street bars.

The well clad women did not bat an eyelid. One elderly Thai man was practically drooling and grinning with delight.

Dance sport is a curious blend of high energy and movement but seemed without any tinge of elegance or grace.

Quite a clash of cultures!
