View Full Version : Things to do in Udon Thani for a GWM?

December 17th, 2007, 10:55
Hi

I am flying into Udon Thani on 9th January 2008. As such, I am looking for some things to do in regards to meeting gay guys. Are there any bars or suanas in the area where I can meet local guys/tourists?. I am a 40 year old GWM. Or are there other places in the area that would be best to visit in north east Thailand. Any tips on accommodation? I would love some advice.

I am 178cms/75kg/gym toned white body, hard hairy chest

Cheers

I am flying into Udon Thani on 9th January 2008. Try http://www.utopia-asia.com - they have some suggestions. Bear in mind the local boys won't have as much English fluency as the ones in Bangkok. Hanging around the shopping centres may bring you some joy. Coincidentally Stickman's column this week is all about Isaan - http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/StickMar ... eIsaan.htm (http://www.stickmanbangkok.com/StickMarkII/VenturingIntoTheIsaan.htm)

Not really relevant. Baht is the most important criterion.

Where's our Udon Thani cut and paste sage Issan adviser ttom? He should know where to go.

Ttom was one of the most informative posters on this board but his last messages were on November 12th. He was also very active on an Udon forum but his last visit there was on October the 27 th.
I hope he is well and will come back soon to provide us with more exclusive news about gay life in Thailand.
As for Udon Thani, and besides the Boys Boys Bar, you could try your luck along the Nong Prajak lake. There should be boys there at night ...
PS Boys Boys Bar changed its location some years ago ; from its former location as explained on the Utopia site, walk on towards the east and turn on a small soi on your left, you will notice a yellow sign with the name of the bar. Or walk from Charoensi Complex towards the railway station and turn right shortly after a japanese restaurant and a very small bridge.

What a totally uncalled for, nasty and cynical remark that you have made. However, that said, as to whether or not I would personally agree with your statement, I of course could not possibly comment. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u152/GeorgeThai/whistle.gif

No malice intended. Just a statement of fact as to the prerequisites. Oh, and of course "a good heart". ;-)
