You mean Sansuk? Punya, the owner, told me he was getting 150 guys there on good afternoon/evenings after beach hours.

Visited it recently.
Was quite quiet around 3:00 pm, but got more busy later on.
Some guys there available at 700bht.

Lockers have a lock, plus a loop for a padlock to go through, so take one along if you want additional peace of mind.

Sansuk was my home for eight days ending less than a week ago.

Facilities: Even better than the website photos. Rooms are really nice with great common areas and quiet. Both buildings are totally new where the photos on the website give the appearance that the sauna was some remodeled motel. Not so. It took 17 months to build and opened in March. It's a first class building facility. All rooms are 2,000 baht during this season and I felt it was a good value just coming from BKK where the same baht does not come close to this facility. Room had everything I wanted and very nice tile work everywhere. Very tasteful designs. No short cuts were taken on quality. Even towels in rooms were large and the same as used by boys around the sauna: Sheets were nice designs and not plain-Jane white. DVD player with the TV. Freebies were generous including water and a number of oval tine and other chocolate drinks and tea with a constant hot water machine in each room. Prices for en suite bar items were not a rip off but I thought comparable to 7-11.

Employees: All employees were very accommodating. Most pleasant boys even tho many are struggling with English. My first night a cutie brought me a White Wine around the pool when I was asking about Wi Fi. Good for a laugh with the owner and he would not let me pay for the mistake. None of the boys were overly effeminate and I can't think of a one I wouldn't have hopped in bed with. A couple are stunning in my opinion.
Front desk is maned 24 hours and they hold your quests ID with no additional visitor fee or question. I would guess all employees are gay except the cleaning couple and maintenance personnel.

Management: Punya the owner is often there making the rounds to make sure food is OK and that everyone is happy. His manager speaks excellent English and is super accommodating. I wanted the Bell Bus for return to hotel in BKK and he arranged it plus got me to station with total cost of 400 baht into my BKK hotel. They also have a very nice car and do the limo shuttle service. Can't remember price but I would use it in other situations. Punya guaranteed me he could have his driver leave whenever I wanted in the middle of the night to get to airport by 0400 for 0600 departure.

Yes they have free WiFi.. Many of us setting around the pool area with laptops in morning hours. Massage available but I did not use. Drinks available most any hour I ever asked. From all alcohol to ice cream or smoothies.

My bill during the eight days was right on with nothing to question. Meal cost seemed reasonable and food was overall quite good. Some evenings they have a good buffet, special of the day, or menu service. Breakfast is free and is generous with a number of orders available including an omelet. My only complaint for breakfast was the coffee. I'm an American that expects a constant full cup of hearty coffee instead of the specialty one cup routine for breakfast. Drink prices must have been reasonable because I drank a lot.

SAUNA... Completely different entrance on another street but all connected. Easy to take any boy from the sauna over to your room just to check it out. Every boy I asked wanted to see my room and all fell across the bed for games before returning. Extremely clean and a crew was there every morning doing a thorough clean.

Unfortunately, my low self esteem would not let me get into the Sauna mentality. It has been many years on my body since the great days of the Baths in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. Those days were heaven and I couldn't get the image out of my head that I am now an old fart. However, many men packing even more pounds than me and less hair were really into the scene. I met a number of fellow travelers around breakfast or just over a drink at the pool and was absolutely amazed at how many were meeting cuties and some even staying several days with them. Good stories of the previous nights affair were shared. I like the atmosphere where guests easily talked and shared stories of other venues like Bali or the Philippines.

Evening drinks or food around the pool, video room or other seating had almost everyone except me and the employees wearing only the large towel around them.

Steam Rooms on first and third floor. Very hot and nice. Darkroom was rather large with privacy rooms and lots of hallways within a maze. Outside bar and good table and chair arrangements with some pillow for lounging on the third floor outside the maze, steam room, and others. It would be hard to not like the arrangement. Well thought out by experienced users. Cruisy in all respects. Also, a good Video area on first floor between food service area and sauna allows good viewing of anyone new entering from lockers to upstairs action corridors.
Video area has nice plasma screen and they show good Music Video from Elton John to more modern. Also, some hilarious gay videos but no porn. Very tasteful during the meal hours, which a number of local boys and their farang shared with all wearing nothing but towels.

Thai Boy numbers. Some post reported up to 150 boys at night but not while I was there. Saturday evening and early darkness may have seen 50 locals but I would doubt more than a dozen to 30 at any one time on other nights. Plus guests in the Guesthouse that have free entry. Boys under 28 get in for 100 baht and its a bit more for those over that age. Apparently it was free to locals to get it started but they were overrun with boys not taking care of the place. Anyone coming now is there for sex and all seem to honor the Disneyland cleaning standards. Even lockers are first class. Punya, the owner, tells me he has a sign telling local boys they must not ask for money from others as that is prostitution which is not allowed. If I had been up to it and some of the hunks I did see there made me happy they would probably find me wanting to give them a Water Buffalo if they wouldn't take money. I still don't know what would attract a young good looking Thai boy to an older out of shape fart unless it is money.
Some farangs showed up very early in the afternoon after opening. They must have been bored because locals didn't start coming in until after 3:00 or 4:00 normally. Having said that, I did see a few really good locals that were there in early afternoon and desperately wanting sex before they went to work. Like life, timing is everything. Am sure it changes constantly or is just a crap shoot.

Transportation: So easy on the baht bus or baht taxi or whatever you call the pick-ups. Very Easy. Midway to Jomptien. From the drop off point its about a two block walk down to the guesthouse or Sauna (different entry roads where road splits but well marked). From early afternoon to at least midnight they keep a small rig that holds about four running back and forth. It is usually setting at the top of the road ready to haul customers down and I suppose the sauna calls it when it needs to pick you up. I always walked it as its a 5 minute walk on a concrete quiet road that is well lighted. At 0200 I felt completely safe.

MY complaint: The jacuzzi attached to the pool shared the same water with the waterfall cascading into the pool. Not a separate system so they had no way to get the water up to the 100 plus degrees that it should be. Thus.........no use of the Jacuzzi which I normally use a lot.

I'll stay there again. Quiet, peaceful, and evening cruising is good. Baht bus to town or beach can't be more than 5 to ten minutes. I walked to the beach one morning in about 15 to 20 minutes. Being out of the core town or Plaza is a huge benefit to me.

Sorry this has been so long but assume you only read if seriously considering staying. PM me if I can answer anything further.

Thank you for the thorough review. Just what I was looking for.
Sansuk sounds great. I'm going to try to stay there when I visit next Winter/Spring.
Thanks again.

Thank you for your time and effort Splash 4. I will probably try this place for the guest house facilities. I am not too thrilled about using the sauna as it not my style. (I had a bad experience many years ago in Amsterdam at a sauna and got crabs! One and only time-- and trying to get rid of those things at that time in a foreign country ruined the whole vacation.) I am sure Sanuk is a rare exception. The only other reason I would ever have to pass on this place is its location; I like to walk to everything at any time and only Boystown (and probably Sunee) would allow that.

I had always been curious about this place tho, and I will be staying at Howard's in May, which I believe is owned by the same guy. I'll pay a visit to Sanuk then just to look around. Thanks again!

Yes, the place is brand new, tastefully done, and kept clean. The detailed description is quite accurate... But when I have visited the place (about six times) since it has opened, I have not been impressed with the local boys there. To me most of them are the skinny fem types who think they're cute when they're really not... drop them off in Bkk or some other big city around the world (such as London or San Francisco) and they would be looked upon as recycled trash. But if one doesn't get any young flesh back home, then this type is fine. Note: I have met some decent local fellows but they're like many of us, they have jobs and drop by on a Friday or Saturday nite.

I think its in a good quiet location since it is close to Jomtien beach and not that far by baht bus to get to Boyz Town.

Some guys there available at 700bht.

What? You shouldn't be paying money to guys there except for a massage. In fact, Punya tries to kick out money boys.

Splash what a great post it makes me want to get on a plane tonight and go stay there.

Regarding your quote above. The boys and the owner are getting smart. The boys may not get money for the first free sample but once they have hooked a farang they are into at least a few days or even the farangs entire holiday on the pay roll of good times a nice tip and everyones happy. Now isn't that better than a cold old one up the bum for a grand and goodbye.

Completely agree with Splash 4 this is by far the best guest house I have stayed in and I have used seven different houses.
If you so desire you do not even have to leave the place you have everything right there. The staff is great and always willing to help. From the driver to the last water all they want to do is please.

Just so you know money boys are not allowed but you may bring them in and enjoy all the faculties.

December 20th, 2007, 08:02
Sorry was kicked out by mistake.

To sum up my 17 days there I would return even though the rate is higher than most other houses. The rate includes the entrance to the sauna and also breakfast for two. The owner is almost always there and will make sure you have a great stay. The boys are great and will stay with you after work is over. They are not allowed to ask for money but you sure can ask them.

If nothing else try the place you will not go wrong.

Only problem is the walk up and down the hill but there is a taxi at your service from 3:00 PM to 12AM.

I will be heading back next year and will surely stay there.

This is not a money boy place. The owner, Punya, has a sign in the entree that says, "If a boy ask you for money tell him to get lost, or tell me and I'll throw him out."

I was there several days ago with my BF for the buffet and a drink. Great place!!!

The place is full of boys that are just there looking for sex. One of my friends was there yesterday and in three hours had more sex than he knew what to do with, and as he was trying to leave had another boy after him that he couldn't say, "No" to. He was nearly late for dinner and totally exhausted; after dinner he went straight to bed. I think that is a pretty good recommendation for the place. He is 50 and good looking, so he was most likely the beauty queen that the most boys wanted. I suspect that some of the larger unattractive Farangs could do OK with a smile and a drink or two.

Hi guys,

Indeed Sansuk sauna can be very busy. I was there about three weeks ago on a Sunday nights and literally got picked up already in the changing room by a very attractive guy in the need of sex. He was at least 15 years younger than me. After that I went back to the locker room to look at my mobile and got picked up again by another youngster craving for relief.
One of my friends who was there the same night had a funny experience; he had a lot of fun with a rather young guy. But the guy was afraid all the time he might come because he still had to work in a bar that night and feared he wouldnтАЩt be able to perform properly. He explained to my friend that he preferred to choose his sex partners himself, but as a barboy obviously this is difficult, so from time to time he came to Sansuk as a treat.

Are you "Khun Henk" from Holland by any chance? If so please PM me. My experiences at Sansuk are much like what you describe. Lots of fun to be had there for sure.
