Last fall, the Chiang Mai Technology School in northern Thailand unveiled, if you will, the Pink Lotus Bathroom. Not an on-campus gay bar, but a separate toilet facility for its 15 transvestite students. Four stalls, no waiting. And no urinals. After much restroom unrest, the Thai trannies are finally heaving a sigh of, well, relief. When they'd used the ladies room, the women got annoyed and "played pranks" (hilarious, I'll bet); the guys in the men's room teased them, chased them, "and they came screaming and in tears," said the registrar of the school, Posaporn Promprakai. According to Yahoo News, the transvestites must wear masculine clothes on campus "but are allowed to sport girlie hairdos." And I'm sure they do.

I think that Chulalonghorn University is not the first educational establishment to open tranny toilets.

It is rather amusing but important to the katoey kids. Where else on earth do schools offer such a kind thoughtful service? Is Thailand leading the developed nations in this?

Yo, Wes. See that word just above your name in the first post? It reads "Author." Given you aren't/weren't (apparently Sen Yai guessed that as, he said, it was "well written"), it'd be nice that you make that clear. And I'm sure the real author would appreciate you noting the real source. Thanks....

What a wonderful country this can be.
Its amazing how much a little dignity can go in this weary world of ours.

Give the "girls" a bit of respect.
