Had a great time in Pattaya and I hope Poj the Cat (named after my special thai friend) bring much joy.

He has three hearts; one from me, and each from my boy and girl, Joey and Nicky. I am part of Big Brother here in in US and Nicky and Joey are my little brother and sister,. They lost their dad last year. We went to Build a Bear together to pick out the toy for me to bring to the bear drive.

The 2007 Teddy Bear Appeal update

Just six weeks and over 280 bears have been donated, but keep 'em coming . . .

Between now and December 18 donations of Teddy Bears are welcome.
Small to medium size Teddy Bears are preferable.
Donations of Teddy Bears will be gladly accepted at Oscars and Panorama Pub, both in Boyz Town, Googie's Bar & Restaurant in Soi Day Night Hotel, The Balcony in Bangkok, or Thais4Life Bookshop, Soi Yensabai Condotel which is open daily
12.00 noon- 6.00 pm except Sunday.

The Appeal will culminate in a Teddy Bear's Picnic Fundraiser in December - date to be announced. As at November 27th, we have 18,000 baht in donations received. This will be used to buy rice, foodstuffs, and other necessities of life for the kids in the orphanages.

British primary school teacher Gillian Gibbons has been arrested in Sudan, accused of insulting Islam's Prophet by letting her class of 7-year-olds name a teddy bear Mohammed.

TIME Magazine reports - World top ten stories

"It probably seemed like the most innocent of ideas to the newly arrived teacher from England, still settling into life in the Sudanese capital Khartoum. She asked her class of six- and seven-year-olds to dress up and name a teddy bear, and keep a diary of his outings. She hoped it would provide material for projects for the rest of the year. And it might have, except for the name the children chose for their bear: Muhammad.

Now Gillian Gibbons, 54, is spending her second night in a Sudanese prison, accused of insulting Islam's Prophet. She faces a public lashing or up to six months in prison if found guilty on charges of blasphemy. And Unity High School тАФ one of a number of exclusive British-run schools in the Sudanese capital тАФ has been closed as staff fear reprisals from Islamic extremists. Robert Boulos, the school's director, said the incident had been blown out of all proportion, but added that the school would remain closed until January to let ill feelings blow over......"

The pics of the bears on pg report are great. I felt warm all over. Great job to all the organisers and those that donated bears and money or assisted with the appeal. You should feel well chuffed.

In protest against the Sudanese government, I have called my penis Mohammed. As an ongoing protest, I give it forty strokes every day.

If I buy a bear for 200 baht, call it Mohammed, then sell it for 500 baht. Have I made a profit?
