A Thai air crash victim filed the first lawsuit in the United States against the Boeing Company.
The US manufacturer of the aircraft which crashed at Phuket International Airport on September 16 which left 90 people dead.

Very strange anyone should be suing Boeing when the aircraft in question is a MD-80 made by McDonell Douglas!

McDonnell Douglas is Now Boeing. Boeing is responsible for all Boeing and MD aircraft. However, this does not appear to be an aircraft related crash. You can't sue Boeing for Pilot Error. But it's standard practice after an airplane crash to sue Everyone involved... hoping for the best.
