TYPHOON! Expect flight delays!

There's a whopper of a typhoon (Sepat) headed right toward Taiwan and due to hit in the next 48 hours.
So far winds at 140 knots and waves 46 feet (!)

Hope nobody's flying through to Thailand right now. It will probably delay any flights coming thru CKS and probably Hong Kong too.

Good God! And here I was complaining today becuase Auckland was again being battered by strong winds of 35 gusting 45 knots! Good luck to Taiwan that's al I can say!

Typhoons i hate em, we are having three weeks solid rain, this one comes immediately on the heels of another one. So far flights are unaffected here in HK, but I am effectively grounded. Thankful of course that Sepat is keeping its distance for the moment, its affecting us badly as it is, though no wind just deluge. The last one did a U-turn after it passed us just last week, tooking us all by surprise in the dead of night.
