I noticed today that today the offshore rate was 63.42, as compared to last Friday which was around 60-61, be interesting to see if this change reflects in the onshore rate. Will check tomorrow.

63? That's bad news. Last time I was there it was 70.

I always find that the exchange rate is better in LOS. If it is showing as 63/64 in uk then i normally get it for about 67/68 there. (Not sure what it is now but i had rate of 68.43 in June

... there are two rates, offshore and onshore

On Friday the offshore rate was around 60, onshore rate was around 68.3

Today, the offshore rate is 63 ish and onshore 68 ish

Offshore rate = a transaction carried out, out of the country i.e. exchanged in the UK, for example

Onshore rate = the rate of exchange used in Thailand
