Today's headline about long-time Forum member Smiles is a cause of concern - "Smiles a little tighter in capital". Have you had a re-bore? - http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2007/07 ... 042961.php (http://www.nationmultimedia.com/2007/07/30/national/national_30042961.php)

On closer inspection the story is about how much more grumpy Thais in Bangkok have become - not a surprise to those of us who live here

I rarely give the colonel credit but this thread is amusing and even smiles might get a chuckle out of it.
There are a few boys/guys I would like to have re-bored as they are too tight even after they say no problem.... :cat:

My gross happiness index drops the minute I step foot in Bangkok, so can't say that I blame the residents at all.

They attributed the recent dip in the index on Politics, but it may have something to do with all those unspent carbon monoxide fumes they're inhaling. But, on second thought, we have a lot of air pollution in Chicago and the maniacs are still smiling. Maybe it's the comfort we enjoy being managed by the Mafia instead of the government...who knows.
