I'll be in Pattaya mid July, previously I've always been Dec/Jan time, can anyone let me know what I should expect weather wise?

Thanks

Thailand, a place equally intolerable (weather) winter and summer.

July = partly cloudy days, some wind, some short rains, humid and hot. I don't think anyone comes here for the climate.
I have never slept a single night in ten years without a/c. But that me.

Yes, every trip I sleep in AirCon room and get bronchitis!!
But where do you find a hotel with a fan and french doors???

The Bondi Hotel in Jomtien has french doors, ceiling fans and balconies.

Normally I have the air con on full blast whilst I'm out of the room, when it comes to sleep time I turn it off and normally it keeps cool enough through the night!

Don't forget to add window screens to keep out the mosquitos and other flying insects. There is a serious problem with dengue fever in Thailand at the moment.

(Does Bondi have window screens?)

Dengue fever is the least of your health concerns if you vacation in Pattaya. Skin irritations from the water, crabs (and worse) from the low-level garbage pail kids who sell themselves in Sunee Plaza, food poisoning from "gourmet" restaurants like Bruno's (and the departed-but-not-forgotten 'Nook), beatings from sub-human baht-bus drivers, and assisted balcony dives are all more of a threat than stupid dengue fever.
