my American friends are only just discovering Little Britain, the outrageous tv program.

It toured Australia as a live show earlier this year and it is a real hoot.

it is worth a look, warning it can become addictive.

Ting Tong started the series as the Thai mail order bride. She usually ends up on her knees
"offering a head job" with the sketch finishing with a line like
While you are down there, Maybe just one more time

It might be a little too subtle for our septics.

I dragged Ting Tong The Thai Mail Order Bride into the trail in order to avoid the dreaded moderator's knife - to no avail. Why are they so harsh? To my mind it does the board no good.

Dudley and Ting Tong

Ting Tong Macadangdang is a fictional character in the cult BBC TV and radio show Little Britain, played by Matt Lucas. She first appeared in series 3. "Ting Tong" is Thai slang for crazy or mad.

Ting Tong is a mail-order bride from Thailand, ordered by character Dudley Punt (played by David Walliams). However, she looks nothing like her photo, which was of a young, slim and attractive lady who is certainly not Ting Tong. She has admitted to being from Tooting in London, revealed when Dudley interrogates her about knowing so much about British history, and also being a lady-boy whose real name is Tong Ting - Dudley caught her urinating standing up. In return for sex, Dudley lets her stay.

In the middle of series 3, she hides her mother in the kitchen cabinet and they both do the PWEASE MR DUDWEY! routine and he lets them stay.

"The Ting Tong sketches are unique in Little Britain in that there is a story advancement or revelation in every sketch. At the end of the third series, Ting Tong turns Dudley's home into a Thai restaurant, proving that their relationship was a scam. Nevertheless, she appeared in the Little Britain live stage show, in which she visited Dudley in hospital and revealed that she had 'invited' her entire family to stay at their house ("Don't worry Mr Dudwey, they only stay for few year!"); named relatives include King-Kong, Ding-Dong and Ping-Pong.

By the time of the "Little Britain Abroad" Christmas special, Dudley and Ting Tong have married and go to Belgium for their honeymoon to stay with Dudley's brother, Les (played by Peter Kay.) Ting Tong becomes increasingly jealous of Dudley's attraction to Les's beautiful, slim, 18 - year - old mail order Russian bride Ivanka (Julia Davis) so Ting Tong farts in front of Dudley saying that was a warning that she will pack her bags and go back to Thailand. While purchasing a sexy dress (wanting it in a size 8) to see who can be sexy in a sex shop, she finds a pornographic movie called "Snow White Does Seven Dwarves" that Ivanka had starred in. After watching the tape, Les leaves Ivanka (who were married for ten days) and Dudley apologises to Ting Tong and promises to take her on a "proper" honeymoon - but wants to watch the end of the video first."
